Our own Jimmy Loyless gave an outstanding presentation about dwarftism and what life is like when you are 54 inches tall versus the average of 71 inches!

Gary Ubben returned to give us our final report on our joint project with the Lenoir City and Loudon Clubs. He also gave us our share of the joint District Grant.
Meeting, Thursday, May 17
Our speaker was Deb Marshall, Walt’s wife. Deb’s topic was “Getting Organized in Preparation for Movin’ On Up” or put it another way, ‘cleaning out, clearing out, de-cluttering – or just plain getting organized’!! Deb had a career in Professional Records Management and is an expert in indexing, coding, retention, conflicts of interest, etc.
Meeting, Thursday, May 10
We heard from one of our newest members, Ron Randle, this week. Ron shared about his family, his career, his love for serving as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts. He ended his talk with old slides from one of his three camping trips to Philmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico.
